Have you heard a radio advertisement lately from SMMC Primecare Physicians about our ongoing clinical research efforts? Great! You've come to the right place for more information. We're recruiting people with certain conditions for special studies.
Atrial Fibrillation - If you have atrial fibrillation, you may qualify.
Congestive Heart Failure - If you have CHF and are taking medications to treat it, you may qualify.
COPD (chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema) - If you have a chronic cough are a current or ex-smoker, you
may qualify.
Diabetes - If you are a diabetic and are having trouble controlling your blood sugar, you may qualify.
Diabetes #2 - If you have diabetes and also were hospitalized for chest pain in the last 60 days, you may qualify.
DVT / PE - If you had a deep venous thrombosis (blood clot in your leg) or a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in your lung) and have been taking Coumadin (warfarin) for 6 to 18 months, you may qualify.
Gout - If you have gout, you may qualify.
Migraine Headaches - If you have headaches around your menstruation, you may qualify.
Multiple Sclerosis - If you have MS and are not currently taking Betaseron, Avonex, Copaxone, Tysabri, or Rebif, you may qualify.
Osteoarthritis - If you have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis and take medication for pain, you may qualify.
